British art isn’t as well known as it should be. Glamourie More-or-Less will introduce contemporary British artists to you, some of them are more well known than others but all of them deserve recognition.

As you scroll through the website, you will be able to see their artworks, learn about them and click on the artist’s name to find out more details about their work.
The Glamourie group is a collective of contemporary British artists who have exhibited their work internationally in prestigious venues.
The group was founded in 1999 with the objective to create a supportive network for developing contemporary art in Britain. It was important that these artists were not too well known, so that they would be able to produce good work without being influenced by the public opinion.
Stuart Pearson Wright, one of the founders of the Glamourie Group, said: “Too many artists are getting lost in the celebrity culture and I think when you’re an artist you should be driven by your work and not be interested in what it does for your career.”
