‘Over the Garden Fence’ is a study of the peculiar architecture of Headingley Carnegie Stadium, where a rugby and a cricket ground sit side by side. Their proximity is shown here by a view of each ground afforded from the other. The photographs feature Kevin Sinfield (captain of Leeds Rhinos) and Darren Gough (captain of Yorkshire County Cricket Club). Look more closely at the balls they are holding for the work’s humorous twist.
