‘Wind Machine Drawing 1’
Nichola’s practice uses both drawing
and performance sometimes as highly integrated processes. This drawing
was created using makeshift sails and parachutes to blow the artist
around in front of a wind machine whilst in the act of drawing. The
resulting work represents her physical and emotional engagement with
the process and maps the trajectory of her body in motion.
