PROPOSALS

PSL is committed to working with emerging and established artists and curators from all over the world who engage with current critical debate. We welcome proposals from artists and freelance curators. If you would like to submit an idea, please send us the following information:

12 images max (35mm slides, prints, jpgs – please mark bottom right hand corner facing you with a cross so the image can be viewed the right way round), DVD or VHS. Please include the name of artist, title, date and medium.
Proposal (maximum 500 words)
Curriculum vitae
Stamped SAE for return of visual material.

PEER CRITIQUE

Peer critiques run alongside our exhibition programme and provide opportunities for artists to discuss their work with other artists in a critical yet supportive environment. Peer Critique is not a lecture, a presentation, or a talent show, rather it is a discussion, a forum, an opportunity to receive constructive feedback.

Every session features three artists who each have a 30 minute slot in which to talk about their work and engage in discussion with a group not exceeding 12 people.

How to Participate

Applications are open to any artists from recent graduates to full-time professionals. To apply, please send the following information to Amelia Crouch at PSL [Project Space Leeds], Whitehall Waterfront, 2 Riverside Way, Leeds LS1 4EH. Or via e-mail to: ameliacrouch@projectspaceleeds.org.uk (please limit attachments to 10MB).

A maximum of 8 images in a jpg format (each image should not exceed 300dpi and be 15cm wide along its longest edge) or DVDs where appropriate.
CV (no more than two sides of A4)

If you are hand delivering information, please do so during our opening hours (Wed-Sat 12-5pm) or leave with the concierge at Whitehall Waterfront.
